ABBYY FlexiCapture support - required information gathering

*The following is the information required for **all *ABBYY support where there is a query about the software itself.

  • Your build number - open your version of the software, go to Help>About.
  • Your license number - find it in your License manager.
  • Ainfo log file
  • Event viewer log files (Application and System)

Ainfo log file​

To collect Ainfo diagnostic files please do the following:

  • Run AINFO.exe file from the program installation folder: ABBYY FlexiCapture Servers\Support or ABBYY FlexiCapture Stations\Support
  • Click "Save as"
  • Send us AINFO.zip.

Event viewer​

To collect the Windows Event Viewer log-file, please do the following:

  •  Reproduce the situation.
  • Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer (or press Windows+R buttons, type eventvwr.exe, and press OK)
  • Go to the Event Viewer window.
  • Select Windows Logs.
  • Right-click Application/System and select Save All Events as...
  • Send us the *.evt file.
