ABBYY FlexiCapture Verification: position of active field error messages

Symptoms

The default position for error/warning messages relating to the active field in ABBYY FlexiCapture Verification Station is in a 'balloon' popup. Whilst usefully showing the error closest to the active field, it can also impede the UX by obscuring, for instance, a suggestion list for the field value.

Cause

This is default behaviour for a fresh installation of the software.
