Checking your FileDirector WinClient Version number

You want to check the version number for your FileDirector WinClient software.

Resolution​

You can follow one of the following methods:

  • If the WinClient application will load then just use the About botton on the 'Start' toolbar.

  • Load WinClient from your start menu. A splash screen similar to below will be shown briefly. If you are presented with a login box like this, then you can just drag the box to one side to see the splash screen behind.

  •  Check the Programs and Features (formerly Add/remove programs) control panel window.
