New client install error

Symptom ​

Error message while trying to install FileDirector client. 

Cause​

Unable to contact FileDirector server.

Resolution ​

Check you can connect to FIleDirector server and the following folder is removed. 

  • Can the File Director server be pinged from PC client was deployed to?
  • With logged-in user go to User\logged on user\Documents\File Director and delete the folder.
